“2006 Kilauea High Definition” was all shot with our Sony CineAlta HDW-F900R HD Camera at various frame rates and mastered at 29.97PsF for this reel. It is all ocean entry and related material.

“Kilauea High Definition Selects 2007” continues with more great ground level shots, including Kilauea’s last ocean entry of 2007. Also included are aerials of the fissure eruption of Summer and Fall, 2007.

This is the material we were able to gather the first day the lava hit the ocean in early March 2008 at Waikupanaha. Some really nice stuff here, when the steam and flows were dancing together. Also, some helicopter material over the fissure eruptions late in 2007… good natural sound of visitors as they view the flows. Also aerials of flows in the Royal Gardens subdivision, and the most recent ash eruption in Halemaumau Crater, Kilauea Caldera at HVNP. The second disk has Royal Gardens ground level stuff… pahoehoe lava going thru the jungle and over a road in the beleaguered subdivision and a nice a`a flow, and a beautiful sunset shot at the Ki entry point of the Waikupanaha ocean entry.
“Kilauea HD Selects 2008 #3”
This is the first of two screeners highlighting the most recent activity of Kilauea Volcano in July, 2008. A sixty-foot lava fountain with two-mile long flows emanating from the source (aerials), multiple flows pouring through the beleagured subdivision of Royal Gardens (aerials and ground level). This disk features forests burning, a house destroyed in Royal Gardens, and various lava flows in morning and evening light. Some of the best volcano aerials we’ve ever shot are included and don’t miss the ground level lava flow shots… truly unbelievable!
“Kilauea HD Selects 2008 #4”
This is the second of the July, 2008 reels. Outrageous littoral explosions blasting up to 400-feet into the air (aerials and ground level). Ocean entry aerials are followed by fabulous night, early
Morning and daytime footage of the explosions at the ocean’s edge. These explosions even create their own lightning inside the clouds of laze! Also, the violent action also sends funnel clouds that spin like mini-tornadoes out from under the plume. This is an amazing reel!
